Welcome to Coppice Academy.

I am proud to be the Associate Headteacher and feel privileged to be part of an excellent community family. Coppice is a happy and vibrant school where we aim to provide an excellent education for all our pupils. We have a dedicated, committed and enthusiastic team of staff who endeavour to provide learning challenges and opportunities to enable our pupils to be the best they can be in a safe and enriching environment.

We pride ourselves on placing wellbeing of our children, staff and governors at the heart of the learning journey and forge strong partnership with parents and carers in achieving this.  All individual and collective successes are valued and celebrated to recognise our pupils’ talents, skills and behaviours reflected in our school values of co-operation, independence, respect, compassion, creativity, curiosity and perseverance.

At Coppice we follow our motto of Inspiring Excellence. We encourage our pupils to achieve the very best that they can in all aspects of school life.

We offer a broad and balanced curriculum which inspires our children to have a real thirst for learning. As such, we strive for our pupils to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens who are respectful and tolerant in our world. It is our vision to ensure that we prepare our pupils to live life independently, responsibly and successfully.

We are delighted to be able to offer before and after school club on site at ‘The Den’ for our pupils in a nurturing, fun and safe environment and utilise our purpose built Forest School outdoor learning area.
