Outdoor education takes place weekly, each class will have 5 sessions across the year, this ensures the children go out and work in all different weathers and gain an appreciation of the seasons. The work they do ranges from den making to gardening. At Coppice we value our outdoor education. Each week, groups of children take their learning outdoors. Children should come to school dressed in:
Joggers/combat trousers
Long sleeved top/hoody
Please bring wellington boots (please make sure these are the correct size and that your child can put them on and take them off themselves) or in summer (if not wet) a change of footwear
Waterproof coat
A couple of carrier bags is also a good idea!
If your child does not come in suitable clothing, it may mean they are unable to attend the session.
